Chuck roast is a staple for slow-cooked comfort meals. Known for its deep beefy flavor and melt-in-your-mouth texture when braised, it’s the perfect choice for pot roasts, stews, or shredded beef.
A popular cooking method is slow braising or roasting in liquid, such as broth or wine, often with vegetables and herbs. It’s best cooked low and slow in a Dutch oven, slow cooker, or pressure cooker until fork-tender. Chuck roast is also excellent for shredding to use in tacos, sandwiches, or soups.
