Some popular cooking methods for the Boneless Ribeye are grilling, pan-searing, or reverse-searing to medium-rare or medium to allow the fat to render properly. Ribeyes shine with simple seasoning, just salt, pepper, and a hot surface. Let the steak rest for 5–10 minutes after cooking to retain its juices and finish with a slice of compound butter for extra decadence.

The Ribeye is taken from the rib primal, located along the upper middle section of the cow, between the chuck and the loin. This area is less used by the animal, which contributes to its signature tenderness and luxurious fat content.
